An insider's study of the kinship foster care program in New York City. Biological parents' whose children were removed from their homes and placed with relatives in the kinship foster care program were interviewed to get their opinions and concerns with the foster care program. Strong sentiments and criticisms of the foster care program and the way these parents' were treated by social workers and the labyrinthine agency the Administration for Children's Services are explored.
